I'll say it again, thank goodness we've has such a cool and wet summer this year because the pool still isn't done!! Chris finally got the liner in the other night and his Dad came over today to work on the top piece to hold it in place. Chris started to fill the pool and the boys asked if they could go in. It was actually a warm sunny day out so we let them enjoy it!
I can't believe how much fun they had splashing around. And the hose was a huge draw too. They took turns spraying each other and got Chris wet too. Even Grammy Hewey got in on the hose action. Even though the water was ice cold they still stayed in for quite a while. Then they got out and warmed up and went back in again.
What really cracked me up was when they pretended to swim in the water that was barely a foot deep.
I love that Nicholas could touch the bottom so he didn't have to wear his life jacket when the water got deeper and deeper.
Of course now they are begging Chris to hook up the heater because it's freezing. It's not warm like Grammy Dean's pool. ;)

Looks nice! It's so weird to read that the water is "freezing cold" because that is just an uncommon occurence down here!
that looks cool! how deep is it? It is a lot bigger than the picture I had in my head!
