Fragrant Blooms

It's Mother's Day and my lilac bushes STILL haven't been planted. Leave it to Papa Hewey to light a fire under Chris. He told him to get out the shovels and they'd get them planted. First they had to straighten up the white lilac that is already in my yard though. When Chris transplanted it a couple years ago it wasn't growing straight up.

Then they dug holes for the two new plants on either side of the white lilac. I absolutely love it!

The lilacs bloomed early this year and didn't seem to have as many blooms as usual in my opinion, but I really enjoyed mine. When I got home from work at night I'd go over and smell them and it would put a smile on my face.
