The carpet has arrived!

When we moved into our house we had the carpets cleaned and the guy who cleaned them told us the carpet was on it's last legs. That was almost eight years ago! We've finally committed and found something we like. One hesitation has been the cats. They've dug up the carpet pretty badly at the doors. They claw at it if a door is closed. They've also dug at it on the stairs. I don't want to declaw them though.

It was so cool coming home and seeing the new carpet installed. They were still installing when we got home and left right before the kids tubby time. The kids were very excited to finally go upstairs and check out their rooms. They danced around in the rooms and rolled on the carpet. It's so soft too. It's nice to have all the rooms one color too! It was nice to put our beds back in the rooms too, although that's all we had time to do tonight.
