Pumpkin Carving

I was so proud of the boys this year and their pumpkin carving skills. Nicholas helped scooping out the guts of his pumpkin using the super scoop. 

 Then he helped carve it after Chris traced the template on the front of the pumpkin. The cutting knives they have make it so easy to cut. 

Nathan completely designed his own pumpkin face and cut the entire thing himself. I thought it was very detailed and quite clever. He even included hair! 

I think both pumpkins came out fantastic! School was canceled due to Super Storm Sandy (formerly a hurricane) coming through today.  I joked that if we lost power we could light by jack-o-lantern!
