Immigration Festival
October 23, 2012
Nathan had a big project due early in the year.
It was a project on an immigrant to the United States . Fortunately we have
one in the family - my Mom! She came from Canada when she was only six.
Nathan interviewed her and I was impressed with how he kept asking questions
like "How did that feel?" or "What was that like?" Then he had to write a paper about her immigration and include facts about Canada . The other part of the
project was to make a presentation board. He designed the board himself and put
everything on it. My Mom came to the Immigration Festival Night at the school
and toured all the classrooms to see what other kids had done.
