Apple Picking

The apple picking season was quickly getting away from us so we seized an opportunity to go with Pat's (Chris' brother) daughters. It was cool out, but we still had a great time. I really enjoyed seeing Gracelynn, Kiley and Paige smiling and laughing. They all wanted to be lifted high up to pick an apple from the top of the tree. I can't believe Chris lifted them all up, including Nathan! 

We quickly filled our bags then went inside to pay. They had just set out fresh warm apple cider donuts so we got some. They were out of this world delicious! We gobbled them up and brought a fruit of the orchard pie home with us also.
