I can't believe we were hunting for eggs this morning with nothing but pants and short sleeved shirts on. It was a gorgeous day, especially compared to some past hunts where we've had heavy winter jackets and hats on. The warm weather caused some problems though. Some of the chocolate in the eggs melted!
Before we went out Nathan was looking outside and spotting eggs all over the yard and then he started showing Nicholas too. He told Nicholas he could get the large egg in the little bush in the side yard because he wanted to go look in the mailbox. He remembered that the Easter Bunny usually hides an egg in there.
Nicholas did great this year finding eggs on his own and I didn't have to ask Nathan to let Nicholas get a few.
Their baskets quickly got full of eggs and they each dropped some out of their basket. Nicholas was really cute at one point because he got all excited when he "found" another egg when actually it had just fallen out of his basket. He was very excited to show this one to me because it was purple and he knows that is my favorite color.
Oops, dropped the eggs again. See the one on the latch to the shed door...that one will be found next!
This was the very last egg and Chris had to help them find it. They both wanted to get it once they found it.
When they were opening the eggs Nicholas was VERY excited when he got one with money in it. He would yell "money!" They each also got 4 mini Transformers in their eggs.

Sweet! I want your easter eggs!!! If there is money in them, I need to come play!! :)! Looks like they had a great time!
I'm coming to your house next year. Mmm candy. It is always nice when the boys are nice to each other, isn't it?
We usually have an egg hunt at my parents house with all the kids but this year but Heather didn't come up and we just stopped at Memere's instead.
