Tear it Down

We knew at the end of last summer that we would have to replace our pool before the start of this summer because it was rusting. We bought a new pool and just left it all boxed up in the garage over the winter. The pool we had ended up caving in over the winter as the snow and ice melted this spring. Chris decided he wanted to use up some of his vacation days to get some big projects done around the house. One of them being tearing down the old pool and building the new one. The others are ripping out the carpet in the upstairs (yes, we finally ordered our new carpet) and also tiling the bathroom that flooded on Easter.

So here he is tearing down the pool. The kids were outside with him and very interested in being in the pool with him and climbing around under the deck. Then Nicholas got into his tool box and was having a lot of fun with that. Nathan helped Chris a little bit also. It didn't take long to rip down. Hopefully it's that easy to build the new one. Yeah, right!

Currently what's left of the pool is sitting in the garage waiting for the big dumpster to come so Chris can put it in there. That'll come at the end of the week when Chris rips up the carpet.
