Nathan's tree is doing well and has some new buds on it.
Unfortunately I'm not sure if Nicholas' tree is going to make it. It doesn't have any new buds. However, it's not brown and dead so I'm still hopeful.

Earth Day Tradition
Last year I got two balsam saplings when I went to a scrapbooking store around Earth Day. We planted them and took pictures of the boys by them. I wanted to have a tradition of taking their pictures by them each Earth Day to see how much the trees and boys had grown.
Nathan's tree is doing well and has some new buds on it.Unfortunately I'm not sure if Nicholas' tree is going to make it. It doesn't have any new buds. However, it's not brown and dead so I'm still hopeful.

That is a good Idea! Of course I don't think there is anymore room in my backyard for trees so I might have to move to the front yard!
