I suppose carving our pumpkins on Halloween afternoon is the latest we’ve done it yet, but hey, better late than never. Nathan helped clean out the seeds, but Nicholas didn’t want to have anything to do with it. He still doesn’t like to get his hands gooey and sticky.
You’d think with the enormous pumpkin we got that it would be full of seeds, but it really wasn’t. This year we didn’t have a dramatic fire in the oven when Chris cooked the pumpkin seeds.
We got one large pumpkin this year and each boy picked out a design that Chris carved into each side of the pumpkin.
One was a haunted tree and the other was a black cat. They both came out awesome. Nathan had also brought home a small pumpkin from RCC that he drew a face on and Chris carved out.
