The Cook's Visit

 October 23-25, 2010

Today Susan, Roy, Ryan and Shelby arrived from Georgia. Unfortunately their flight got in late, but Brian and I went to the airport to pick them up when they arrived. I couldn't believe how grown up the kids are! They had their cell phones and were texting all weekend long! Ryan is into football and plays on the high school team.

Roy is still working on the concrete business and is glad it's starting to pick up again.

Susan still enjoys a good laugh and is doing the books for Roy's business along with being a substitute teacher.

When Nathan and Nicholas were saying goodbye to them Nicholas said "Why does she call him that?" We didn't know what he was talking about so we said "Call him what?" Nicholas said "Kriyesss." We all busted up laughing at his imitation of Susan's southern accent. Ryan was extremely active and always wanted to be doing something. He brought the air hockey table into Mom's living room and Brian, Ryan and Shelby all played. Pucks were flying all over the room and some into the dining room!

Shelby spent a lot of time on Facebook and even Aunt Lana was on Facebook playing Bejeweled Blitz. The Cook’s visit was very short, Saturday evening to Monday evening, but it was so nice to have all the family together.
