2011 is a big year for our neighborhood. Many of our neighbors are turning 40, starting with Dawn Revellese. Her husband, Dan, threw a surprise party for her at The Centennial Inn in Concord. She had gone out to dinner there with Faby and Tim and when Faby went to the restroom she was going to tell Dawn that she had seen Jen Sackos in the ladies room who was there at Dana's company party and that they had to come down for a drink because she was bored. Well, unfortunately that didn't work because Dawn didn't want to leave her table so Jen had to go up and get her. She was successfully surprised and even got teary eyed.
Dan did a fantastic job planning the event. There was a pomegranate martini named for Dawn, which was delicious I might add. Read this sign, it's cute!
There were red roses and candles on every table, a beautiful cake, chocolate covered strawberries and a table full of photos of Dawn through the years.
Dana got hold of one of the photos and put it in his shirt pocket where it stayed for most of the evening.
Then the rest of the neighborhood men got in on it. Poor Dawn!
We had so much fun joking around and laughing. Dan read his card to Dawn in front of everyone and got choked up while he read it. He said how much he appreciated everything she does for the family and the kids and in return he was taking her for 6 nights at the Ritz Carlton in Puerto Rico.
She was very excited to have some alone time with her hubby! Happy Birthday Dawn!
