My Dad and step-Mom, Margee, are here from Arizona for 7 weeks. They are staying at Sandy Beach campground in Contoocook so we went to visit them today. It’s got a nice beach and a spring fed pond that we went swimming in. There were so many warm and cold spots in the water, but it wasn’t deep so we had a great time. Nathan dug a giant volcano in the sand and Nicholas really enjoyed the slide. He was being quite the daredevil and climbing on it in ways you shouldn‘t.
They were celebrating Christmas in July this weekend and Santa and Mrs. Claus came through the campground in a golf cart all decked out with Christmas decorations. We wrapped a couple of gifts for the boys and Santa handed them out at a celebration in the evening. Nathan got his early and then Nicholas’s gift was close to last and after each child’s name was called he would throw himself down because he was so upset his name wasn’t called.
It was nice to see Dad get down on the floor and play with the motorcycles that zoom away when you pull them back.
We finished the evening playing Apple to Apple Disney version on the deck of their cabin. It was a gorgeous night outside and everyone had quite a few laughs playing the game. Nathan asked me the next day if we could go again to Grammy and Grampa’s and do the same thing.

Sounds like you had a great day! We've gone to Lake Massasecum a few times and it's really shallow there too. Trust me, I'm not complaining at all!!
7 weeks..wow! That will be fun for the boys to have them near for a while! Awesome!
