No More Training Wheels!

Nicholas has been riding his bike without training wheels since July 4th weekend. I'm so proud of my 5 1/2 year old! He was hesitant to practice, but once he gained his confidence he wanted to ride more often. We had him ride with elbow and knee pads while practicing because I was sure if he fell and got hurt he wouldn’t get back on the bike again. He is still mastering starting from a standstill, but he’s got steering and turning down pat. He fell a few times and would get very angry and kick his bike because he couldn’t get going again, but Chris would go over and help him. He was so cute riding back and forth in front of me. He had a proud smile on his face.
