Nathan wanted to be a Bakugon character, but they didn't have the costume in his size so he decided to be Wolverine. I was surprised how many people knew who he was. I miss the sweet costumes though. I told Nicholas he was going to be Tigger because I think it's the last year he would fit into Nathan's old costume. He's carrying a flashlight that makes all sorts of scary noises. He was almost more interested in carrying that flashlight than his candy bucket!
We usually Trick or Treat with the Spain family while Grammy Hewey hands out candy at our house. This year the Spain's were sick so we went alone. We started around the neighborhood and when we got to Brandon's house we invited him to join us. He was a Storm Trooper from Star Wars.
It was very weird to be Trick or Treating at 5pm and have it light out. As the night went on it got darker and then even started to rain a little, but no downpours. It was also very warm for Halloween. Nicholas was actually hot in his costume.
The boys decided they only wanted to go around the neighborhood once, but Nathan came back out with us when we brought Brandon around the rest of the neighborhood. Our neighbors, the Sackos', had made a big batch of Rum cider again this year and Chris walked around the neighborhood with the light up glass he got on the cruise full of cider. We ended up hanging out at their house for a little bit while the kids sorted their candy.
