Meet Your Teacher 2011

Today is the day we go to the at school and check out the boy's classrooms and meet their teachers.

Nathan- Nathan has Mrs. Mounsey this year for fourth grade and Sean and Leighton are in his class also. We ran into Sean in the classroom and the boys found their seats. They aren't together and they aren't near Leighton either. Hmm, I wonder why? Nathan found the book corner and settled in reading one.  We also noticed a lot of owls around the room. Nathan shared with us that he's very excited to go back to school. I think he missed his friends this summer.

Nicholas- Nicholas has Mrs. Mulligan this year for first grade. Nicholas was urging us to get going from Nathan's class so we could go to his classroom, but as soon as we got to the door he got very shy and buried his face in Chris's stomach. Mrs. W from First Start recognized him and was glad she was going to be in his classroom helping out. He started to see a few things that he was interested in, like a bunk bed or loft for reading, Mr. Potato Heads, Lego's and other toys. He didn't want to tell Mr. Mulligan anything about his summer or give her the tissues we brought. She assured us as soon as all the parents were gone the children would have plenty to say.
