While we were down in NC, my mother in law watched the boys. I was very bummed about missing Easter with them, but I knew they were in good hands. Grammy Hewey kept them the entire weekend and she dyed eggs with the boys. Grammy Hewey handled the Easter Egg hunt on Easter morning with the boys and they were very confused by the bunny this year. They had a hard time finding their Easter baskets because the bunny put them under the piano bench in the breezeway! They were very excited with what was in them though. They got some Reese's Pieces, 2 Disney Star Wars characters and a squishy thing that lights up when you throw it. The Easter Bunny also forgot to put an egg in the mailbox this year and they couldn't believe it. But they bunny did surprise them by leaving chocolate bunnies outside their bedroom doors. They also got Zhu Zhu pets in eggs they found and also small Lego creations. Eggs were also stuffed with change for their piggy banks.
They also were invited to a special Egg Hunt and gathering at Steve and Debbie Gaumond's house. Their cousins were there too, which was a nice treat.There was a big egg hunt and a blow up jump house.
