Kayaking on the Contoocook River

We took the boys kayaking today on the Contoocook River. I had Nicholas with me and Nathan went with Chris who fished along the way to our destination. 

They love getting to Daisy Beach. Nathan tried the rope swing from the tree this time! Nicholas did much better using the tree stump. They both got some great air before splashing into the river. 

We brought some sandwiches and snacks and ate lunch on the picnic table on the beach. Chris continued to fish and caught some unidentified fish that he hadn't seem before in this water. It was a nice afternoon and we were all super tired when we got back to the kayak rental place.
