After outdoor soccer ended we started an indoor league and have been playing all winter long. Nathan had a new coach this year, Coach Ferrier. He would comment that when Nathan would get a fire in his belly he would play excellent. Nathan's strengths are that he is fast and he plays as a team. He doesn't have to be the one to score the goal, he is just as happy to assist. He really mastered having a two player goal where one would kick it from the side to the other player standing in the goalie box. Nathan was fortunate enough to score many goals and several of them with his left foot.
It's great that he isn't stuck with just using his right foot. His games were very exciting to watch and frequently it was down to the last five minutes and me and Mrs. Lennon were in the bleachers screaming for our boys. It was a lot of fun. In the past month we've seen Nathan take an even deeper interest in soccer and will pull out the net and kick the ball around in the driveway quite a bit.
